Founded in 1986, the Washington School of Chinese Language and Culture (WSCLC) aims to provide an innovative learning environment that emphasizes Chinese culture and language for students. We hope our students will grow to appreciate diversity, creating a bond between Asian Americans and other ethnic groups. WSCLC has nearly 300 students in 21 classes, including an adult class. WSCLC also provides a variety of extra-curriculum activities for both students and parents.

Our Hua Fu Youth Dragon Boat was formed during the inaugural year of the Washington DC Dragon Boat Festival. The team has won more than 30 medals over the past years. In hopes of inviting more people to participate in the dragon boat and providing our wonder alumni with an opportunity to come back, we formed our Hua Fu Adult Dragon Boat Team in 2018. We are excited to see many of our staff and parents participate as well as returning Youth Team alumni. We also want to thank our coach - Jane Lin - for helping to train the team and lead us to new heights. We are ready to seek another year of continuous success.

Good luck to both teams. Go Hua Fu! Go!
